The Technical Club, in association with the Red Cross Unit of NRAM Polytechnic, Nitte, organized an awareness session on Understanding Road Safety: Key Insights on 18th February 2026 for the second-year Technical Club members.
Dr. Sriram P Marathe, Professor, Civil Engineering, NMAMIT explained key aspects of road safety including traffic regulations, the importance of wearing helmets & seat belts and the consequences of negligent driving. He further stressed the responsibility of students as future citizens to follow traffic rules and create awareness among society. The session highlighted the role of youth in promoting a safe road culture and reducing accidents.
