The Department of Community Medicine, KS Hegde Medical Academy – Epidemiology Unit, in collaboration with Hind Kusht Nivaran Sangh (HKNS), conducted a General Health Camp on 23 September 2026 at Mangalore Central Railway Station, Mangaluru, as part of the Mobilization for AIDS Suraksha (MAS) initiative. The camp targeted autorickshaw drivers, migrant workers, travellers and railway staff and provided ICTC services, HIV testing with pre- and post-test counselling, blood pressure and hypertension screening, random blood glucose testing, general health check-ups and health education. The programme was coordinated by Dr Anusha Rashmi, Professor, Department of Community Medicine and MAS Nodal Officer.
