Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy held the Student Council Induction Ceremony for the academic year 2026-27 along with Freshers’ Day on 29th August 2026 at K S Hegde Auditorium. The program was organized to formally induct the newly constituted Student Council and welcome the new batch of students into the institution.
Prof. (Dr) Shahnawaz Manipady, Dean, Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences was the Chief Guest and Dr. P. Nirmal Babu, Assoc. Professor, Orthopaedics, KSHEMA was the Guest of Honour.
The Student Council Induction marked the formal beginning of the new council’s responsibilities. The newly inducted student representatives were encouraged to uphold leadership, teamwork, while working towards the welfare of the student community and contributing positively to the institution.
At the Freshers’ Day celebration, students were introduced to the vibrant academic and social environment of Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy. Cultural events helped freshers build meaningful connections with their peers and become comfortable within the college community.
The program concluded with the vote of thanks.
