News from NSAMPUCN | Student Council Inauguration

The Student Council Inauguration of Dr. NSAM Pre-University College, Nitte was held on 10th August 2026.

Mr. K M Ajila, Principal welcomed the gathering. Chief guest, Mr. Krishnaraja Joisa, PRO, NMAM Institute of Technology emphasized the importance of leadership, discipline, teamwork and responsibility.

The following students were elected as members of the Student Council and were presented their badges, symbolizing their responsibilities and commitment to serving as student leaders.

• Ms. Panchami Kundar, II PCMB: Secretary, Science Association
• Mr. Hrithik Anchan, II PEBA: Secretary, Commerce Association
• Ms. Vaishnavi Shetty, II PEBA: Secretary, Cultural Club
• Ms. Yashika Suvarna, II CEBA: Secretary, Literary Club
• Mr. Prajwal Poojary, II PEBA: Secretary, Sports Club

The event marked the beginning of their leadership journey and reminded them of their responsibility to work together for the welfare of the student community and contribute positively to the college. Dr. Prakash Shenoy, Administrative Officer encouraged the newly elected council members to perform their duties sincerely and set a good example for their fellow students.

Ms. Kavya, Student Council President, proposed the vote of thanks. The formal program was followed by an entertaining cultural event presented by the students, making the occasion lively and memorable.
