News from NIS | Ganita Mahotsav 2026

Nitte International School organized Ganita Mahotsav 2026 on 12th & 13th August 2026. The event provided students with an opportunity to explore mathematical concepts through interactive models and hands-on activities. Students presented models and participated in activities that focused on logical thinking, problem-solving and creative approaches to mathematics.

The Nitte International School (NIS) Girls’ Volleyball Team secured the Second Runner-Up position in the Volleyball Competition held at DPS North in early August 2026. The achievement marks a notable performance by the NIS girls’ volleyball team.

Nitte International School celebrated Heritage Fest 2026 on 7th August 2026, in collaboration with ISKCON. The event provided students with an opportunity to explore Indian culture and traditions through cultural performances, traditional attire and related activities. The celebration introduced students to different aspects of India’s cultural heritage as part of their learning experience.







News from KSHEMA | A Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guideline Workshop

The Department of Pharmacology, KSHEMA, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell organized a Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guideline Workshop as part of the National Pharmacology Day celebrations. The workshop was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. U P Rathnakara, Former Dean, Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences. Prof. (Dr) Sandeep Rai, Dean, KSHEMA presided over the function, with Dr. Sukanya Shetty, Vice Dean (Admn), KSHEMA as Guest of Honour.

Dr. Ashwin K, Coordinator, IQAC welcomed the gathering and Prof. (Dr) Ravichandra V, HoD, Pharmacology, introduced the Chief Guest. The workshop included expert sessions on ICH-GCP R3 Principles by Dr. Ashok Shenoy; IEC responsibilities, Ethical review procedures, Participant safety and SAE reporting as per NDCT-2019 by Dr. Sneha Ullal and the Informed consent process by Dr. Ashok Shenoy. A total of 114 participants from various institutions in Mangaluru, Kasaragod and surrounding areas attended the workshop. As part of National Pharmacology Day, a Postgraduate Debate Competition was also conducted, with eight teams participating in the preliminary round and four advancing to the finals. KMC, Manipal secured the first prize, while KMC, Mangaluru won the second place.

Nitte College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bengaluru conducted the Orientation Day for the new batch of students on 4th August 2026. Dr. H N Shivaprasad, Chief Scientific Officer, Botanic Healthcare spoke about the opportunities in pharmaceutical sciences, encouraging students to explore learning beyond the classroom and engage with innovation in the field.

Nitte College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bengaluru organized a two-day Pharma Tech Nexus 2026 Workshop on 21st & 22nd July 2026, as part of Scientific Pillars 2026 in collaboration with Lab India Instruments Pvt. Ltd. and Altem Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The workshop provided students with practical exposure to pharmaceutical technologies and an opportunity to interact with industry professionals.









News from NSAMFGCB | Investiture Ceremony

Dr. NSAM First Grade College, Bengaluru held the Investiture Ceremony on 14th August 2026, to formally induct the newly elected Student Council office bearers for the academic year 2026-27. The ceremony marked the beginning of their responsibilities as student leaders and provided an opportunity to take on leadership roles within the college.
