Department of Psychiatry, KSHEMA observed ‘WORLD SUICIDE PREVENTION DAY” and Family Meet on September 10th -2015 in our Male Psychiatry Ward, VIth floor , Justice K.S Hegde Charitable Hospital, Derlakatte, Mangaluru. Dr. Karuna Ramesh Kumar, Medical Superintendent, Justice K.S. Hegde Charitable Hospital & Dr. Sumalatha Shetty, Professor, Department of Anaesthesiology , the member of NSS wing, KSHEMA were the Chief Guest .Dr. Satheesh Rao , Professor and Head , Department of psychiatry welcomed the guest and the gathering . The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Sumalatha Shetty .Mr. Thimmaiah, Project Officer, Sree Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Programme (SKDRDP) and the members of Alcoholic Anonymous and AL-ANON Group were the resource persons. Around 200 people benefited by this programme.
