The NSS unit of A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences organised an AIDS awareness programme on 1st December 2016 at 1.00PM at the College campus on World AIDs Day. Prof. (Dr.) B Rajendra Prasad, Director- PG Studies and Head, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery spoke on the occasion. Prof.(Dr.) Biju Thomas, Prof.(Dr.) Amitha M Hegde and other Staff Members attend the Program. The 1st BDS students performed a Street Play to spread Awareness of Consequences of AIDS. Numerous Posters were also exhibited by the Students. The Students Council Members volunteered to make the program a success. The Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology and Public Health Dentistry provided posters for the awareness programme. Dr. Avaneendra Talwar and Dr. Kumuda Rao conducted the Programme. Dr. Kumuda Rao delivered the Vote of Thanks.
