Workshop on ‘Forensic psychiatry’ - KSHEMA

Department of Psychiatry, K.S. Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA), Nitte organized a interactive workshop on ‘Forensic psychiatry’ on 25th of Novemeber-2016 , Friday in the Seminar Hall, 2nd Floor, Justice K.S. Hegde Charitable Hospital, Deralakatte, and Mangalore. The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Dean of KSHEMA and Dr. Prakash P.S. Vice Dean , KSHEMA .Dr.Suresh Badamath, Additional Professor, Department of Psychiatry, NIMHANS and Dr. Naveen Kumar C , Asst. Professor, Department of psychiatry , NIMHANS were the speakers of the day. This workshop was aimed at post graduate students in and around Mangaluru , UGs ( KSHEMA ) .The morning 1st session started with Medical Negligence by Dr. Suresh Badamath after the tea break the 2nd session of the morning started with Disability Assessment by Dr. Naveen Kumar C both followed by question and answer sessions. After noon sessions started with the topic Civil Responsibility by Dr. Suresh Badamath and 2nd session of the after noon is Critical Analysis of MHC Bill 2016 by dr. Naveen Kumar C. Both afternoon sessions also ended with Question and answer session. The conclusion of Interaction workshop by Dr. Santosh Prabhu, Asst. Professor , Dept. of psychiatry, KSHEMA with Vote of Thanks.
