Under the Banner of the Nitte University Green Initiative Project ( NUGIP), the A.B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Scineces has started a project by name ‘THE GREEN LIGHT CAMPAIGN. THE GREEN LIGHT CAMPAIGN’ is a symbol of our commitment to honour and reinforce the bountiful nature of mother earth. We have decided that every event at our institute will be marked by Watering a sapling along with lighting of the lamp. This sapling will be an indoor or an outdoor plant which will later be planted at various Departments in our College or in the campus of Nitte University respectively. This was initiated on the ‘Orientation Day Program’ of the New Batch of Postgraduates (2017-18 Batch) held on 1st June 2017.
