Nitte Mechanical Engineering students to attend summer Schools in Germany & Indonesia - NMAMIT

In the globalized world it is important for engineering students to get international exposure to understand the different societies, cultures and work environments as well as to get a glimpse of the changing world through technological advancements. NMAM Institute of Technology Nitte strives for excellence of students by providing them international exposures. In this context, two students of final year Mechanical Engineering of NMAM Institute of Technology Nitte, Glan Weston Crasto and Johnston Aranh are participating in summer school courses titled “Systematic Product Innovation” organized by International Academy of RWTH Aachen University Germany during 12 to 23 June 2017 at Aaachen. The students will further undergo Green Drive summer schools on “skills and knowledge to design tomorrow’s vehicles” at Institute of Technology, Bandung Indonesia during 2 to 15 July 2017. The Green Drive is a project of the University of Antwerp in Belgium which is running a two years master’s degree in sustainable automotive engineering through a consortium of European universities. NMAM Institute of Technology is an academic partner of the University of Antwerp in the Green Drive programme in which the students of Green Drive project can carry out their project work at Nitte according to a press release issued by Dr. Niranjan N. Chiplunkar, Principal of NMAMIT.
