AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences in association with the Admissions Department of Nitte DU conducted an outreach program for the benefit of the women students of Vishwa Mangala Pre-University College, Konaje on 12th August 2022.
The students were educated on the various options & prospects at the Nitte University and encouraged to apply especially to courses where women are underrepresented. They were provided with flyers, materials and links to access the admissions at Nitte University.
The talk emphasized on the various facilities provided for the women students - women friendly campus, safety & security measures in place, provisions at the women’s hostels etc.
73 girl students of the college benefitted.
