Teachers’ Day was celebrated on 5th September 12022 at the school with pomp and grandeur. Mrs. Rama Shankar, Retd. Principal, BRMP Centenary School, Bantwal was invited as the Chief guest.
The Principal, Ms. Shreelatha Rao paid floral tribute to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan along with the President of PTA, Mr. Swaraj Shetty. The Principal explained the significance of Teachers` Day and the responsibility of teachers in shaping the character of students.
The Chief guest gave a succinct speech on instances from the life of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
The students and the PTA arranged some fun games for the teachers. The cultural program presented by students added colour to the celebrations.
A 50-inch TV was presented to the school by the PTA as a token of respect and appreciation to teachers.
