“Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”, the 76th Independence Day of our nation was celebrated with much enthusiasm and vigor at K. S. Hegde Medical Academy.
Dean Dr. P. S. Prakash hoisted the national flag at 7:30 AM. The men and women working as security personnel at the organisation were felicitated for the tireless service rendered by them to the organisation.
The students of K. S. Hegde Medical Academy presented a dance to the beat of ‘Vande Mataram’.The dance reminded us of the sacrifices of Indian revolutionaries and nationalist leaders during the country’s struggle for freedom. The college was decorated tastefully.
Vice Deans Dr. Jayaprakash Shetty and Dr. Amruth Mirajkar, the Heads of Departments, faculty members, non teaching staff and students were part of the celebrations.
