Alumni Meet was organized on 4th November 2022 at NUINS Learning Centre. The program began with invoking the blessings of Almighty by Ms. Deepthi Poonja. Dr. Neetha Kamath, HoD, Community Health Nursing delivered the welcome address. Addressing the gathering, Prof (Dr) Fatima Dsilva, Principal, NUINS stressed on the importance of alumni being reconnected with the institute. One-minute silence was observed to condole the demise of Sneha Susan Thomas, alumna of NUINS.
Ms. K Niveditha Kamath, Freelance Trainer, Swachh Manas Program, Ramakrishna Mission, Mangalore was the Chief Guest. She expressed the importance of values to be inculcated among the nurses and congratulated the alumni for their services to the institute. Ms. Jeevitha Alva reported the activities of the Alumni Association from 2019 to 2022. New office bearers were nominated at the Alumni Meet. Games were organized and winners were awarded prizes. The program concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Nalini, NUINS.
