The NSS unit of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences organized an Orientation Program for the newly enrolled NSS volunteers (I Semester B.Sc Nursing ) on 4th November 2022 at Chintana Hall, Justice KS Hegde Charitable Hospital.
Mr. Alwin Dsouza, NSS Program officer, St. Aloysius Autonomous College, Mangalore, inaugurated the program and oriented the students about the vision, mission, objectives, NSS clap, NSS song in Hindi & Kannada, National Integration camp, regular activities and NSS special camp. It was a very interactive and interesting session. He also shared his NSS experience with the students.
Mr. Shashi Kumar Shetty, NSS Program Coordinator appreciated the work of the NSS unit and encouraged the students to participate in NSS activities.
Prof. Sabitha Nayak, Vice-Principal, NUINS; Ms. Suchithra BS & Mr. Sukesh Shetty, NSS Program officers and Ms. Prathima, Coordinator I year BSc Nursing were present. The program was compered by Ms. Joshika of I BSc Nursing.
A total of 110 students & 4 teaching faculty attended the program.
