On account of World Hearing Day (March 3, 2023), the "Nishabda program" which is the brainchild of Prof. Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Nitte DU being implemented in schools to create awareness about noise pollution in the community.
In this regard, All India Radio, Mangalore is broadcasting an interview of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor at 8.00 PM on March 3rd, 2023 on “How harmful is Noise Pollution”. The frequency of the radio is 100.3.
