One of the major highlights of the conference was the uniqueness associated with the event, that allowed scientific deliberations on issues pertaining to NE states of the country by bringing in experts & scientists from various domains under a common platform, in a university located in south west India. The deliberations were extremely productive and resulted in creation of several new connections and identification of areas where Nitte DU could contribute to mitigating the issues, through collaborative efforts.
The conference also included a cultural extravaganza, put together by the students of the university that included a display of the tradition & culture of NE states along with a breath-taking compilation of the traditional dance forms of Karnataka.
