News from ABSMIDS | Free Oral Cancer Screening

The Department of Public Health Dentistry, ABSMIDS in association with the Famous Youth Club Thokur, Nehru Yuva Kendra Mangalore, Rotary Club Baikampady, Grama Panchayat Padupanambur, Primary Health Centre Kemral, Tapovana Interact Club, Scouts & Guides, Red Cross and Dr. M Ramanna Shetty English Medium High School - Thokur, conducted a free Oral Cancer Screening, Awareness and Dental Treatment Camp for the school children and general public at Famous Youth Club Office, Thokur on 31st May 2024 as part of the commemoration of World No Tobacco Day 2024. A street play on Tobacco and its ill effects was performed by the interns. Oral health awareness was also provided. A total of 32 patients underwent screening during the camp.
