The Department of Paediatrics, K S Hegde Medical Academy, in association with the National Neonatology Forum (NNF) conducted a workshop on 2nd June 2024 in the NU Sim Lab. The workshop was conducted as a part of the ongoing short course in Neonatology (ShiNe) for the paediatric postgraduates. Prof. Dr. Seema Pavaman, HoD, Paediatrics, Nodal Officer was present.
25 postgraduates from various medical colleges took part in this workshop. The training included Kangaroo mother care, nutrition, instruments, anthropometric measurements, Development Supportive Care, asepsis protocols, IV cannulation and fluid management in NICU and ETAT.
