Youth Red Cross, KSHEMA in association with IMA Mangalore observed World Health Day on 7th April 2024, by conducting a Geriatric Health Camp at ‘Paschim’ Old age home and Rehabilitation centre, Someshwar, Mangalore.
Students of MBBS, MIT and MLT performed skits on health awareness. MBBS students were involved in checking blood pressure and MLT students in checking blood sugar levels.
The doctors from IMA, Dr. Avin Alva (Secretary, IMA) and Dr. Prabha Adhikari (Professor, Dept of Geriatrics) conducted health check-up of 125 residents. Lunch was provided by KSHEMA for the inmates.
