News from NIPT | Alumni Talk Series - 10th Webinar on Role of Physiotherapist in Lactation

The Alumni Relations Cell at Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy organized an enlightening online webinar focused on “Role of Physiotherapist in Lactation” on 28th June 2024. The event commenced with a warm welcome from Mr. Rakesh Krishna Kovela, Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Alumni Relations Cell, followed by an introduction of the speaker by Ms. Nireeksha Shenoy, Asst. Professor.

Ms. Tejaswi Ganesh, a distinguished alumna from 2015 MPT batch and currently a senior physiotherapist at Aster Women and Children Hospital, Bangalore shared her expertise on the topic. During the session, Ms. Tejaswi delved into the importance of physiotherapy consultation for lactation issues, various positions of feeding premature infants & ergonomic advise thus engaging the audience, who actively participated and had their queries addressed. A total of 69 interns and postgraduates participated in the event.
