The guest lecture titled "Behavioral Support in Pediatric Dental Practice for Children with Special Health Care Needs - A Collaborative Approach" saw enthusiastic participation of postgraduates, III-year undergraduates and faculty members.
The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, symbolizing the start of an enlightening session. Prof. Dr. Manju R, HoD delivered the welcome address followed by an address by the Principal & Dean, Prof. (Dr) U S Krishna Nayak, who emphasized the importance of collaborative approaches in dental practice.
Prof. (Dr) Kavita Rai introduced the resource person Mrs. Radhika Sridhar. The inaugural ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Meghna Bhandary.
Prof. (Dr) Amarshree Shetty spoke on the challenges faced by special educators and postgraduates in the field of special health care needs, providing valuable insights into the practical difficulties encountered in this specialized area.
