News from NUINS | Industry-sponsored workshop on empowering nurses for Oncology care

A workshop titled ‘Empowering Nurses for Oncology Care’ sponsored by INTAS Pharmaceuticals and organized by the Project Vriddhi Industry-Academia Collaboration, NUINS jointly with the Dept. of Oncology, KS Hegde Hospital was held on 9th September 2024 at Avishkar, ABSMIDS.

Prof. (Dr) Jacintha Veigas, Organizing Secretary welcomed the gathering. Mr. Usman Basha D, Sr. Business Manager, NTAS Pharmaceuticals was the chief guest and Prof. (Dr) AN Parameswaran, Director (Industry-Institute Collaboration), NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte was the guest of honour. Talks were delivered by experts from NUINS & KS Hegde Hospital on the following subjects:

The participants were actively involved throughout the workshop which included lectures, discussion, video presentation, and demonstration.
