Amalgamate Of Two Words: Ananda : In The Memory Of The Founder Late Justice K.S. Hegde. Utsava : A Joyous Occasion. Anandotsava is a state level cultural festival of NMAM Institute Of Technology. Started with the name VARIETY, an inter-departmental competition in the 90's, limited only to NMAMIT, the fest was a grand success and was appreciated by everyone. In the year 2002-03 with a new name SAHYOG, this cultural fest was extended to the Nitte group of Institutes. The following year, it was extended to all the Institutes of Dakshina Kannada coastal belt.Twenty years down the line, with the name ANANDOTSAVA the cultural festival is now STATE-LEVEL.
