Inauguration of Student Research Forum on 28 Feb 2017 - KSHEMA

On the occasion of National Science Day (28th February 2017), the inauguration of Student Research Forum was held at the Sushrutha Hall of K S Hegde Medical Academy under the initiative of the department of Community Medicine. The function was presided over by the honorable Dean of KSHEMA, Dr Satheesh Kumar Bhandary. Dr. Pataje G Prasanna, the currentProgram Director at National Cancer Institute, was the guest of honor. Dr Jayaprakash Shetty K, Registrar, KSHEMA and Dr Amrith M Mirajkar, the Vice Dean, KSHEMAgraced the occasion with their presence. Dr Shameena AU (post graduate, Community Medicine) explained the mission, objectives and proposed activities of the Student Research Forum. Dr Shruthi Shetty (post graduate, Community Medicine) was the master of the ceremony and Dr Sharon Baisil (post graduate, Community Medicine) delivered the vote of thanks. HODs of various departments of KSHEMA, Staffs and students attended the function. In and all, the entire function was coordinated by Dr Sanjeev Badiger, Professor and Head of Department of Community Medicine, KSHEMA.
