The NU-MEDISIM (Nitte University - Medical Simulation Centre for Advanced Clinical Skill Training) will be inaugurated by Dr. Sharan Prakash Patil, Hon’ble Minister for Medical Education on 3rd March 2017 at 2.00 PM at the Justice K.S. Hegde Charitable Hospital, Deralakatte. Sri N.V. Hegde, Hon’ble Chancellor, Nitte University will preside over the function.
The state-of-the-art Medical Simulation Centre developed at a cost of around 9 crores provides facilities for training the Medical, Dental and Nursing students in Clinical Skills as well as non-technical skills in an advanced simulated environment. The Centre is designed to enhance the quality of Medical Education and training leading to improved safety and outcome of patient care.
