News from MRSM EMHS | Exhibition - Uttarakhand

Shreshtha Bharath aims to promote a sustained and structured connect in different areas through the concept of state pairing. Karnataka has been paired with Uttarakhand for the year 2020-21.

In this connection, an Exhibition was put up at Dr. MRSM English Medium High School from 20th to 25th February 2021 to enable people understand, appreciate the diversity and foster a sense of common identity.

The creativity combined with imagination of teachers and students was put to test in making suitable models that showcased the rich heritage, culture, customs, agricultural practices and traditions of Uttarakhand to the best of their ability from the available resources.

Mr. Prasanna Kailaje, Director, Student Welfare & Alumni Relations, Nitte Deemed to be University, inaugurated the exhibition. In his address he enriched the students’ knowledge on Uttarakhand with many interesting facts. A minute’s silence was observed to pay homage to the departed souls during the recent tragic mishap.

The Exhibition was open to member schools of AICS. Many students from different schools along with their teachers visited the exhibition. It was well appreciated by the visitors.
