75th Independence Day celebration

The Nitte (Deemed to be University) and NSS Unit celebrated the 75th Independence Day at KS Hegde Medical Academy campus on 15th August, 2021. The Chief Guest was Padma Shri awardee Harekala Hajabba.

Prof. Dr. Sateesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice-Chancellor, Nitte DU, Prof. Dr. M S Moodithaya, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Nitte DU, Prof. Dr. Alka Kulkarni, Registrar, Mr. Shashi Kumar Shetty, NSS Coordinator, and senior officials of Nitte University were present on the occasion.

The 75th Independence Day was typically celebrated by planting 75 herbal saplings in the campus.
