News from Dr. NSAM PU College, Mangalore | Food kit Distribution Drive

NSS unit of Dr. NSAM PU College, Mangalore in association with the Lions Club, Ashok Nagar, Mangaluru distributed food kits to the roadside vendors and other needy people during lockdown in an event held at Lions Seva Bhavan, Mangalore on 19th May 2021. Around 75 food kits were distributed to deserving families.

Principal Dr. Naveen Shetty presided over the function. Addressing the gathering, he said “NSS unit of Dr. NSAM PU College is providing the required groceries & vegetables which would suffice for a week to 75 needy families who are out of work due to the impact of the Covid -19 pandemic this year. The same initiative was also undertaken during the lockdown period last year.”

NSS officer Ms. Sandya, Asst. NSS officer Ms. Meera Crasta and members of Lions club Ashok Nagar were present on the occasion.
