Dr. MRSM English Medium High School celebrated ‘Azadi Ka Amrith Mahothsav” on Sunday, 15th August, 2021. The Principal of the school, Mrs. Shreelatha Rao hoisted the National flag. This was followed by a rendition of patriotic songs by the staff members. In her address, Mrs. Rao remembered all the great souls who sacrificed their lives, to free India from the clutches of the British. She reminded the teachers of their important role in shaping the young minds, in preserving the essence of free, democratic India. She urged them to update themselves with the latest technology, adopting innovative methods of teaching and not being mere disseminators of information. She stressed on the necessity to inculcate good values and principles in students for a better & peaceful future. The PTA President Mr. Arun Shetty greeted the gathering, on this special occasion.
