The program commenced at 3 pm through virtual mode with a brief introduction by Ms. Merlin George followed by invocation and virtual lighting of the lamp by Ms. Ann Maria and Ms. Rosna Kuriakose. Mrs. Melba Drago, SNA Advisor delivered the welcome address. Ms. Fathima Wafah, SNA Vice-President led the Oath taking ceremony and also presented a report of SNA activities for the year 2020-21. Ms. Priya Scaria, on behalf of her batch, shared their experience at NUINS.
The Chief Guest of the program Dr. Kulkarni addressed the gathering with her enlightening words and wished the new SNA Council members the very best in their future endeavors. The SNA President & Principal of NUINS, Prof. Dr. Fatima Dsilva congratulated the new council members and appreciated the hard work & efficiency of the previous SNA Council. She wished good luck to the outgoing batch while emphasizing on the importance of keeping in touch with the institution after graduating and leaving the portals of the college.
Ms. Caroline Sequeira, the new SNA Vice President, thanked the teachers and students for granting her the opportunity to take up the new role. This was followed by a melodious farewell song dedicated to the outgoing batch sung by Ms. Rosna & team and a farewell dance by Ms. Sona Siby & Ms. Ayana Jose. A memorable video clipping presented by Mr. Sibin D made the seniors happy, emotional and nostalgic.
Exciting and fun-filled virtual games were organized exclusively for the students of the outgoing batch conducted by Ms. Fathima Wafah & Ms. Merlin George. Mrs. Jeevitha Alva, Alumni Secretary and Coordinator of the outgoing batch welcomed the alumni and briefed about the Alumni Council. Mr. Arun Antony proposed the vote of thanks.
