News from KSHEMA | Online Mammography Workshop

The Department of Medical Imaging Technology, KSHEMA successfully organized an Online Mammography Workshop on 28th October 2021 on the occasion of the International Breast Cancer Awareness month. There was enthusiastic participation from 202 different colleges with 1028 delegates from different parts of the nation. The event was organized on an online learning platform of google forms with 20 pre-recorded in-house workshop videos uploaded. All videos covered a wide range of topics in mammography, followed by a Quiz at the end of each session. Obtaining a minimum of 50% marks in the quiz was the benchmark for successful completion of the workshop. 822 delegates successfully completed the workshop and received e-certificates. The event was well received and much appreciated by students, technologists and the teaching faculty.
