News from Dr. NSAM Pre-University College, Mangalore | A talk on Anti-drug Awareness

The NSS unit of Dr. NSAM Pre-University College, Mangalore organized a talk on Anti-drug Awareness on 10th February 2022. Mr. Gopal Krishna Bhat, Traffic Police Inspector was the Resource Person. He explained the harmful effect of drugs to the students & gave some tips on how to stay away from these dangerous substances. He also briefed on traffic rules to be followed and the penalty for violating the rules. Dr. Naveen Shetty K, Principal, in his presidential address said that students are more at risk of being involved in criminal activities and this could hamper their growth and career. He further said that students should cultivate good hobbies & healthy practices and involve in social service programs. All the NSS volunteers attended the program.
