Prof (Dr) Rahul Bhandary, Dean, Student Welfare, A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences was the Chief Guest. The program began with a march-past by the students with the Chief Guest receiving the Guard of Honor. Dr. Bhandary hoisted the flag and declared the athletic meet open. Ms. Caroline Sequeira, III BSc (N) welcomed the guests, participants and the gathering.
The student representatives lit the flame which was followed by oath-taking ceremony led by Mr. Arun, IV BSc (N). In the presidential address Prof (Dr) Fatima Dsilva, Principal, NUINS addressed the gathering and presented a memento as a token of gratitude to the Chief Guest. Sports Chairperson Ms. Risha, III BSc (N) proposed the vote of thanks.
Mr. Owsin, I year GNM and Ms. Jeenet Simon IV year B.Sc (N) won the individual championships in the men’s and women’s sections respectively. The overall championship was bagged by IV year BSc (N) students.
