The annual training camp of NCC 6(Kar) Naval Unit, Udupi for the year 2022 was conducted at Naval Sub Unit, NMAMIT, Nitte. 396 cadets from 23 different schools and 8 colleges attended the camp.
Commander Karthik Das, CO, 6(Kar) Naval Unit, Udupi and Dy. Commandant Lt. Col. M S Rawath, CO, 21 (Kar) Army BN, Udupi were the camp commandants. During the camp, the cadets were trained in rigging and semaphore in addition to drills, firing and boat pulling.
On the closing day of the camp on 15th August, the cadets participated in the march past to celebrate the 75th Independence Day at Nitte campus. The camp training enabled the cadets to develop into more responsible, well-groomed, courteous and disciplined individuals.
