International Women's Day 2023 was celebrated by the Women's Forum of ABSMIDS on 8th March 2023. The program was presided by the Principal & Dean, Prof. (Dr.) U S Krishna Nayak. Prof. (Dr). Amitha Ramesh, President of Women’s Forum, welcomed the gathering and Prof. (Dr). Darshana Devadiga, Secretary, Women’s Forum delivered the vote of thanks. Dr. Sonika Achalli, Joint Secretary, Women’s Forum compered the program.
Prof. (Dr) Fatima Dsilva, Principal, Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences was the Guest Speaker. She delivered a guest lecture on DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality, emphasizing the importance of Women’s Day and explaining the reasons for gender disparity in technology and how to overcome this problem.
The program was attended by 158 participants.
