The Medical Education Unit, K.S Hegde Medical Academy organized a guest lecture titled “Update on National TB Elimination Program” on 17th March 2023.
The Guest Speaker was Dr. Jose Jom Thomas, Medical Consultant, World Health Organization, NTEP Technical Support Network. Addressing the gathering, he spoke of the National TB Elimination Program, updates, immediate targets, management strategies and preventive measures.
Dr. Ankeeta Memona Jacob, Assoc. Professo,Community Medicine moderated the session. The guest lecture was attended by 90 people, including faculty, research scholars, and postgraduates. The session was informative and interactive.
