Talk on “Overseas Education and Career Opportunities”
The Placement & Career Guidance Cell of Nitte University Centre for Science Education & Research conducted a Career Guidance program on 12th May, 2023, focusing on “Overseas Education and Career Opportunities”.
Mr Imran S.M, Planet Education was the resource person. The program was conducted for the final year undergraduate and post graduate students to comprehend the ground reality of overseas education.
Prof. Smitha Hegde, Dy.Director, NUCSER welcomed the speaker and gathering. Mr. Imran explained the available opportunities abroad, part-time jobs and post study work opportunities. He explained the types and process of education loans, country-wise policies and skill requirements for students interested in studying abroad. Further discussions on jobs for Biomedical Science degree holders, possible reasons for Visa rejections were highlighted. The session was very interactive.
