The Innovation Think Tank Capacity Building Program organized by Siemens Healthineers, India focused on 'Shaping the future of healthcare in India'. The hackathon included five days of online training and three days of physical workshop in Bengaluru. Innovation Think Tank works towards developing innovative solutions for real-world problems in the healthcare sector. The subtopics of the program included areas such as 'Cost-effective training of healthcare workers'.
In the 8 days of experiential learning, 72 interdisciplinary participants from 24 institutions across India, UK, Germany and Kenya applied Innovation Think Tank (ITT) methodology to come up with solution proposals which they presented to the jury panel.
The team led by Mr. Ayush Chowdhary, II B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, NMAMIT, Nitte secured the 2nd place in the open innovation exhibition. Ayush has received an offer to set up a CoE in the institute and continue to work on the proposed idea and apply for a patent with support from Siemens Healthcare.
