The Department of Community Medicine, KSHEMA organized a health education program on Mental Health on 10th August 2023 in the General ward which was open to both the patients & patient parties.
The program aimed to create awareness about mental health & its importance. Topics that were discussed included - when to seek help; how to cope with mental health problems; the stigma associated with mental illness & ways of dealing with it; the necessity of having someone to share thoughts & feelings to stop struggling within and receive help on time.
