The Literary Club of Nitte Institute of Communication (NICO), which is now named by the students as ‘The Logophilia Society,’ organized an event on 11th October, 2023 under the guidance of faculty coordinator, Dr. Pranamya Bhat. The theme of the event was ‘Sarcasm’.
The event began with Haleema Shiza reading out a monologue from Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. This was followed by a debate on the topic - Sarcasm, always offensive, where Arfaan and Ben debated about how sarcasm is used in general conversations.
Some games planned and conducted by Roshni, Sara, Ameya and Pranamya kept the audience entertained.
The event ended with a Vote of Thanks by Rahul.
