Navaratri Mahotsav was held from 16th to 23rd October 2023 at Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy. The event began with the lighting of the lamp and Pooja of Goddess Saraswathi. The faculty and students dressed according to the colour theme of Navaratri.
During the week-long celebrations, variety of singing, dance and art competitions were held in Patanjali Yoga Hall followed by Flash Mob by individual classes on earmarked days.
The Mahapooja and Lasya 2023, Cultural Fest of NIPT were held at KS Hegde Auditorium on 23rd October 2023. Dr. Priyanka Shekhar, Mrs. Voguestar India was the Chief Guest and Prof. (Dr) Sripada Mehandale, Head, Dept. of Anaesthesiology, KSHEMA was the Guest of Honour for the inaugural function. Ms. Aishwarya Nair, Convenor of the event rendered the vote of thanks. The formal function culminated with a special performance by the students depicting the victory of Goddess Kali over Raktabeejasura. Following this, competitive events of Lasya 2023 were conducted. The venue resonated with the melodious bhajans by the staff & students in preparation to the Mahapooja. Prasadam lunch was served to all.
The evening of 23rd October was a kaleidoscope of colours and music as NIPT staff and students gathered for Garba Night and Dandiya Ras outside K S Hegde Auditorium.
