The NSS Unit of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences organized a NSS special camp at D.K Zilla Panchayat Higher Primary School, Sasihithlu from 18th to 23rd December 2023. Dr. Preetham Shenoy, Medical Officer, Sasihithlu PHC inaugurated the camp. Mrs. Poornima, Gram Panchayat President, Haleyangadi was the chief guest of the event and gave the camp her full support.
Dr. Fatima Dsilva, Principal, NUINS; Mr. Sathish Thingalaya, Vice President, Old Students Association, Sasihithlu; Mr. Dilip, President Yuvaka Mandala, Sasihithlu; Mrs. Babitha, President Mahila Mandala, Sasihithlu; Mrs. Savitha U Saliyan, Panchayat Member, Haleyangadi were present on this occasion.
The event saw active participation from 50 NSS volunteers and eight teachers engaging in Shramadaan. The NSS special camp was an enriching experience for all the participants.
