NMAMIT hosts a 5-day FDP on Machine Learning and Deep Learning Techniques for Cyber Security

In a collaborative effort, the Dept. of Information Science & Engineering (ISE), NMAMIT in association with the Staff Development Centre, Nitte DU organized a five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Machine Learning and Deep Learning Techniques for Cyber Security from 8th to 12th January 2024.

Chief guest, Dr. S Mohan, Vice-Chancellor, Puducherry Technological University inaugurated the program and emphasized the significance of machine learning and deep learning techniques in enhancing cyber security measures in the present era. Dr. Niranjan Chiplunkar, Principal, NMAMIT, Nitte in his presidential remarks shared insights into the evolving landscape of technology and the crucial role of academic institutions in preparing the workforce for the challenges of the digital era.

Dr. Ashwini B, HoD, ISE welcomed the gathering and provided a brief overview of the FDP. Dr. Vasudeva, Professor, ISE introduced Dr. S Mohan, highlighting his contributions to the field of technology and education. Dr. Manjula Gururaj Rao, Coordinator of the workshop delivered the vote of thanks. Dr. Usha Divakarla, Assoc. Professor, ISE coordinated the event. Ms. Chinmai Shetty, Asst. Professor, ISE was the Master of Ceremony.
