On 7th July 2024, the 6 (KAR) Naval Subunit of NCC observed the International Plastic Bag Free Day, joining global efforts to curb plastic pollution. The event aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic on marine ecosystems and promote sustainable alternatives.
A total of 21 cadets participated, actively engaging the community in discussions on reducing single-use plastics and adopting eco-friendly habits. The initiative reflected NCC’s commitment to environmental conservation and responsible citizenship.
