National Space Day, introduced this year to celebrate the success of the Chandrayaan 3 Mission of India, is a commemoration of India’s achievements and advancements in space research. It marks the landing of Chandrayaan 3 in Moon on 23rd August 2023 and this year is the first anniversary of that historic event.
This year’s motto was "Touching Lives while Touching the Moon," to create awareness among youth about the STEM field and its potential. NUCSER, a research institute, celebrated this occasion in the portico of the institute in the form of a street play by the final-year BSc students that brought creativity & scientific curiosity to the forefront and highlighted the significance of the day.
