The Department of Physical Education & Sports organized the Nitte University Intercollegiate Volleyball Tournament for men and women on 24th October 2024 at B C Alva Indoor Stadium, Deralakatte campus.
Prof. (Dr) Siddharth Shetty, Dept. of Orthopaedics was the chief guest and Prof. (Dr) Jayaprakash Shetty, I/c Dean, KSHEMA presided over the function. Dr. Muralikrishna V, Dy. Director, Sports was the Guest of honor. The Physical Education Directors of all constituent colleges of Nitte University were present on the occasion.
The women's team from NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences emerged as the winners, with NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte securing the runner-up position. In the men's category, Dr. NSAM First Grade College, Nitte claimed victory, while NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte finished as runners-up.
