"There may be numerous languages in the world, and we may learn many of them. Some languages might hold contextual importance for global interactions. However, amidst all this, when we become aware of our own roots, our self-esteem is awakened. We should respect other languages and also love our own. Cultures, traditions and languages are complementary to each other. Celebrations like Rajyotsava inspire awareness about the significance of our mother tongue" said Shri Sharath Gore, Co-founder & Director, Vibrant PU College, Moodabidri speaking at the inaugural function of the Kannada Rajyotsava and Cultural Day celebrations at Dr. NSAM PUC, Mangaluru on 1st November 2024.
Principal Dr. Naveen Shetty K, remarked, "Education is not limited to curriculum-related classes. When students integrate commitment & discipline with learning, and appropriately utilize platforms for language, art & cultural expression, success is inevitable. Let there always be pride in one's mother tongue."
On this occasion, the college honoured its students who excelled in Sports at the State level. The event also saw students in cultural attire performing various skits related to our state and its language.
