News from MRSMEMHS | Annual Day Celebrations

The Annual Day at Dr MRSM English Medium High School held on 30th November 2024 was not just a day of entertainment but a testament to the holistic development of students, fostering a sense of community, pride and unity. The day began with a prayer and a welcome dance followed by the presentation of Annual Report 2023-24 by the Principal, Mrs Shreelatha Rao after which a brief cultural program by the Kindergarten students was held.

The chief guest, Dr Sahana Hegde, Principal, Vidyavardhaka English Medium School, the presider, Prof. Vinod Aranha, Director, Nitte Institute of Architecture along with the PTA President, Mr Pushparaj Chowta, Principal Mrs Shreelatha Rao and the student representatives, Sanjan R Ullal and Aleena Sehar inaugurated the function by watering a plant. Master Sanjan welcomed the gathering.

Dr Sahana threw light on National Curriculum Framework and Experiential Learning. Prof. Aranha motivated the audience with his words of wisdom and appreciated the students for their achievements and encouraged them to strive for excellence.

Mr Chowta read out the Annual PTA Report and assured support to the school in all aspects. At the prize distribution ceremony that followed, outstanding students were recognized and awarded for their exceptional achievements. Ms Aleena proposed the vote of thanks. Students showcased their talent through a series of cultural performances - dance, music, drama, skit, Karate and a Yakshagana prasanga - Sri Krishna Leelamrutha.
