With consistent hard work, no one can stop us from achieving victory. Choosing subjects that align with our interests and receiving training & education tailored to them, makes learning more meaningful. Cultivating patriotism and contributing to building a glorious India should be our aim," said Shri. D Vedavyas Kamath, MLA of Mangalore South Constituency speaking at the Annual Prize Awards Day held on 7th December 2024 at the college.
Chief guest, Film & Theatre Artist Ms. Roopashree Varkady remarked, "Learning is a continuous process. No matter how much we achieve, there is always more to learn. Sometimes, we might find ourselves in fields we never intended to pursue. But with dedication and sincerity, success, fame and wealth come naturally. The field of arts also offers bright opportunities for the youth."
Principal Dr. Naveen Shetty stated, "Extracurricular activities like NSS, cultural events and sports are conducted in schools & colleges to ensure the holistic development of students. In these activities, participation is more important than winning because participation offers two possibilities: victory or defeat. Those who don't participate miss both opportunities. Students must cultivate a spirit of competitiveness." Students who excelled in various competitions and academic achievements organized during the academic year were recognized and felicitated during the event.
The program began with a prayer by Ms. Shreya. Lecturer Ms. Veena Ullal welcomed the gathering and Ms. Suman & Ms. Beula Margaret introduced the guests. Mr. Mahesh Prasad proposed the vote of thanks & Ms. Jessica D'Souza compered the event.
